Day 17
Ok – so we’re on the long ride homeward bound. Not a lot of looking at the scenery (just corn fields, wheat fields, soy fields and field fields. Left Murdo @ 6:30 am and headed east. Started looking for a room just east of Iowa City, Iowa around 6 pm local time and every thing was booked solid – no room at the inns. We didn’t find a place till we got to Davenport, Ia about 8:30pm. Seems there was a golf tournament and a tractor show. YeeHa.
